I don't normally take the time to review books (shame on me) but this one is so outstanding that I feel I should spread the word.
It was the saucy cover that first caught my eye, but the narrative made me devour the book in one sitting. Jacky is like Marian Keyes with a BDSM twist - she takes a female character, some pretty depressing subjects including being a battered wife, depression, addiction, throws in a dollop of submissive clients and their crazy fantasies, and turns it into a terrific comedy read with all the angst of a love affair as an added twist. This is truly a 'must-read'!
Highly enjoyable read
Having read a few Professional Dominatrix autobiographies you sometimes wonder if you have heard it all? This book is still as kinky and perverted as the others, letting you in on some tricks of the Dominatrix trade, and what really goes on behind dungeon doors, but it also has the background of her life too, which I find even more fascinating. I always want to know what makes someone become a professional Dominatrix, and does it affect their love life etc? This book seeks to address this.

More than a biography of a Dom
The book is so well written, every sentence is a work of literature.
its more than a Biography of someone becoming a dominatrix,
running through the entire book is the emotional trauma of being in love.
even if you are not into BDSM there is something here that is full of understanding other peoples needs.
Not for everyone
The book is well-written, funny, and in places, I do wonder if true...but I caution readers that if you are even slightly prudish, leave it alone. Ms Donovan tells on the cover that she was/ is a dominatrix and tells all with humor. She caters to both sexes and is quite graphic with what goes on in her dungeon. Read with an open mind.

Brilliant
Extremely well written, I couldn't put it down.. Lots of laugh out loud parts and a true insight into the life of Jacky and all the shocking ups and downs along the way - well worth a read! Hope there's going to be more from her!!
Unputdownable
I am currently reading up on BDSM and Dominatrix lifestyle. This book stands out as first and foremost a wonderful story. ( I have since lent the book to a friend who has no interest in BDSM but loves a good story) It also stands out as a true emotional account of being a Dominatrix. Other books offer practical advice or paint the author as somebody with no feelings at all!
I really felt as if I knew the central character of this book. It was honest and 100% genuine.
I wholeheartedly recommend it.
A great fun book with a soft centre
I loved this book.. its real.. from the heart..from the soul..a first sight glimpse into the world of a dominatrix. so well written.
